GOEDVERWACHT SUIDERKRUIS VONKEL 2007, was awarded one of the best value wines in the latest
2008 wine magazine value awards. This wine was described as one of the few to have a really forthcoming boquet, loads of ripe tropical aromas and distinct grassiness. a dry and assertive wine from the robertson valley. made from colombar , by a producer who grows some of the best.

GOEDVERWACHT CRANE RED MERLOT 2006, was awarded as the second best merlot in the latest 2008 wine magazine value awards. This merlot has a deep purple colour, a nose that is full of berries and spice. medium bodied with a nutty, smooth berried palate.

GOEDVERWACHT MAXIM
The 2003 Goedverwacht Maxim - Cabernet Sauvignon, was released on the 1st of May 2005. This fantastic wine then received a double gold award at the 2005 Veritas. Very limited volumes will only be available locally and only on the estate. We believe this is an exceptional example of Cabernet Sauvignon, which illustrates the high quality of wines produced on Goedverwacht Estate.

GOEDVERWACHT SHIRAZ ONE OF TOP 10 REDS IN DECANTER
The 2003 Goedverwacht Acre of Stone Shiraz has been selected by the prestigious British wine magazine, Decanter as one of the 20 great South African wines (10 white & 10 red) in the September 2004 issue. What makes this achievement much more prestigious is that this vineyard is only 4 years old, and was the maiden vintage of shiraz on Goedverwacht. This award also shows that Robertson Valley is very unique, and can definitely produce world class wines.
